Ronald (Ronnie) Colvin
Ronnie joined the ColeFP family in 2016, after working with Scott as a summer intern during his Masters program. Ronnie has always had a passion for personal finance, so much so that he wanted to become a CFP® way back in 1987 (see his personal story HERE). He was always helping friends and family with their budgeting and retirement savings questions, even while spending 30 years working in the technology sector as a Networking and Telecommunications Engineer.
Ronnie manages the North Alabama office (Madison, AL) of ColeFP, specializing in working with the diverse and highly educated science and technology professionals in the area.
Ronnie currently resides in Madison, AL with his wife Sharon and a spoiled rotten cat named Squeaker. He is a lifelong University of Alabama football fan but he’s perfectly happy to root for Auburn right up until the Iron Bowl. He loves to read and has a weakness for computer games and chocolate.
Ronnie holds a undergraduate degree in Accounting (UAHuntsville, 2014) and a Masters in Family Financial Planning and Counseling (University of Alabama, 2016)
